How We Operate

Trustees Jonathan Kaye, Jennifer Leng, Jordan Kaye, and Jocelyn Kaye created a dedicated, evergreen fund committed to supporting and enhancing life in New York City and beyond.

Each year, between October 31st and November 30th, the Trustees of the Kaye Family Foundation select causes for the upcoming year’s allocations. All selected charities are 501(c)(3) entities recognized by the IRS and approved by major Donor Advised Fund (DAF) platforms, which distribute the Foundation’s annual contributions. Depending on need, Trustees may also offer time, additional fundraising activities, support, and governance oversight to various causes. We carefully evaluate each cause’s performance and finances through third-party platforms like Charity Navigator, and make selections between October 31st and November 30th.
